Decorative Groove
GROOVING BIT
USES: Uses: Cuts dadoes and grooves with profiled edges in panels to create decorative accents.
SIZES: Cutting diameter: 1/2–2”
VARIATIONS: Available in several profiles, and with a top-mounted bearing for template mounting.
Mortising
GROOVING BIT
USES: Forms mortises dadoes, and rabbits when used with an edge guide.
SIZES: Cutting diameter: 11/32–1 1/4”
VARIATIONS: Flush trims when used with a guide bushing.
Round-Nose
GROOVING BIT
USES: Form flutes and veins, makes signs, and cuts coves when used with an edge guide.
SIZES: Cutting diameter: 1/8–2”
VARIATIONS: Available with top-mounted bearing for template mounting.
Spiral
GROOVING BIT
USES: Cut dadoes, grooves, mortises, and rabbets when used with an edge guide.
SIZES: Cutting diameter: 1/8–1/2”
VARIATIONS: Up spiral clears chips efficiently for fast cutting. Down spiral leaves a top edge free from tear-out.
Straight
GROOVING BIT
USES: Cuts dadoes, grooves rabbets, box joints, inlays, mortises, and flush-trims when used with a guide bushing.
SIZES: Cutting diameter: 1/16–2”
VARIATIONS: Available in many lengths and diamters, including plywood-specific.
V-Groove
GROOVING BIT
USES: Creates decorative accents, makes signs and letters, and produces veining and chamfers.
